Culture is moving. The house that Tim & Swizz build has been sold to American video-making and social-networking service Triller. Think of it as the main competition to TikTok and it makes sense. When you look behind the scenes and see that the majors have licensing deals locked up and governments worldwide continually censoring the platform, the motivation in going with Triller makes sense. Add to that the live video production capabilities that Triller has with music and you see why an artists like Snoop Dogg and now Timbaland and Swizz Beatz are making moves. Still, wouldn’t it be nice to see a Black-startup stay independent and thrive?
This week has shown me that no matter what, sometimes you just can’t dodge the bullshit. In the end you’ll make it through and be fine but most people aren’t gonna help. They will look and might even be annoyed that you are “disturbing the peace”. Thoughts to remember when you put yourself on the line for a cause.
Our new single is dropping May 19th! Have you supported our last song, “I Ain’t Dead“? Remember that May 19th is also the day of the Netflix Giftcard Giveaway and YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO ENTER so get in tune with the movement‼️ 💯
